Czech Republic will increase the numbers of its military police in Afghanistan from two to eight by the end of this month, military police commander Pavel Kriz said on Monday.

Kriz said up to 40 police could be sent to foreign missions in Afghanistan or in Mali annually in the future.

Kriz said Czech military police are very well trained to carry out tasks in Afghanistan. He expects the number of police participating in foreign missions to further rise in 2016. Enditem
