Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks ended slightly lower on Monday as investors remained cautious ahead of the expiry of October series F&O contracts.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,819.34, 49.15 points or 0.19 percent down from previous close of 25,868.49, with a turnover of 417.26 crore rupees (about 62.9 million U.S. dollars). Endit
