Xinhua, November 20, 2015 Adjust font size:

The International Film Festival of India, the country's biggest film fest, opened in the western state of Goa Friday.

The 10-day festival will have a stellar line up of world cinema and participation from national and international dignitaries, an official release said.

Close to 250 movies will be screened in the film festival -- while 187 movies will be shown in the World Cinema section, 47 films will be shown in the Indian Panorama section.

Though Spain is this year's focus country, there will be 15 entries from countries such as Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Colombia, France, Germany and Iceland in the international competition.

Argentina's biggest box office hit "El Clan" will be the closing film. Enditem
