Dollar changes hands in upper 122 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 122 yen range early Friday in Tokyo, almost unchanged from its levels in New York overnight.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 122.90-91 yen compared with 122.81-91 yen in New York and 123.36-37 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.0724-0724 dollars and 131.80-82 yen against 1.0728-0738 dollars and 131.83-93 yen in New York and 1.0673-0674 dollars and 131.67-71 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endit
