Xinhua, November 19, 2015 Adjust font size:
Death toll of a landslide in east China's Zhejiang Province has risen to 36, with one still missing as of Thursday morning.
The landslide buried 27 homes in Lidong Village, Liandu District of Lishui City late Friday night, leaving 38 missing. Only one person has been rescued. More than 300 villagers have been relocated.
The city government has decided on the location for new buildings. A land replacement plan for the affected farmers will be completed in a week.
Displaced rocks on the roads around Lidong Village have been cleared to ensure the transit of relief vehicles.
A detachment of traffic police from Lishui Public Security Bureau asked all drivers to drive carefully on provincial road No.49 and national road G330, both of which go through Lishui City.
Lishui received about 6.61 million yuan (about one million U.S. dollars) in public donations by Wednesday afternoon.
Rescue is still underway. Endi
