Costa hails chemistry with Neymar, Willian

Douglas Costa has hailed his on-field chemistry with Willian and Neymar after firing Brazil to a 3-0 victory over Peru in their World Cup qualifier.

The Bayern Munich winger was man of the match at the Fonte Nova arena in Salvador on Tuesday, scoring one goal and setting up two others.

"Before the match we (Costa, Willian and Neymar) trained together with a lot of freedom and that's how it turned out in the match," Costa said, adding that he now feels settled in Brazil's national team.

The 25-year-old praised the support of Brazil supporters in Salvador, who he said had provided the team with positive energy.

"Brazilian fans are warm and always on our side," he said. "It's different to what you see in Germany." Endit
