FIFA rejects Blatter, Platini appeals against bans

FIFA's appeal committee on Wednesday rejected Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini's appeals against their 90-day bans for financial wrongdoing.  

   The ban was issued on Oct. 7 by FIFA's ethics committee pending full investigations into a two million U.S. dollars payment Blatter approved for Platini in 2011 as backdated salary.

   However, Platini will appeal again at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), his lawyers said in a statement shortly after FIFA's rejection.  Endi
