Russian GDP up 0.1 pct in Oct.: minister

Russian Economy Minister Aleksey Ulyukayev announced Wednesday that Russia's seasonally-adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0,1 percent in October.

"By the end of 2015, the decline in GDP might be less than what the Ministry had predicted," said Ulyukayev.

Ulyukayev described the current situation of the Russian industry as stagnation.

The European Union's sanctions had a negative impact on Russian GDP, he added. Endi
