Xinhua, November 17, 2015 Adjust font size:

Indonesia on Monday issued a travel advisory for its nationals planning to go to or through France following Friday's deadly terror attacks in Paris.

After the terror attacks, France is now intensifying security measures particularly in checkpoints, a statement from the Foreign Minister said.

Even though public transportation remains available, but trave delays due to increased inspection at bus stations, airports and sea ports should be anticipated, the statement said.

Indonesian nationals traveling to France are told to be more alert in response to the security condition in France and avoid places which are crowded.

They were also advised to keep monitoring the developing situation through the French government's official websites, abide by advises issued by the government as well as the Indonesian embassy and consulate general office.

The deadly terror attacks in Paris killed more than 100 people and injured hundreds of others. IS has claimed responsibility for the attacks. Endit
