Spain will keep terror alert at level four after Paris terrorist attacks, Spain's Minister of Interior Jorge Fernandez Diaz reported on Saturday.

After Paris attacks, which left at least 127 people dead and around 300 people injured, Spain had considered raising the country's terror alert from level 4 to level 5.

The Ministry of Interior asked for assessment on the issue and met with experts of the commission in charge of assessing gather issues that included representatives of the security forces of Spain.

The Minister explained some specific areas had been reinforced with more security and said that the Ministry of Justice and the public prosecutor's office would meet with their French counterparts, increasing collaboration between the two countries.

Fernandez Diaz launched a message of calm, at the same time he said there was no news about Spanish people dead at the attacks, although it has been confirmed that one Spaniard was injured at the attack in Bataclan.

Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy also confirmed this information and said on Saturday morning in a press conference that "today we all are France", expressing the country's support and solidarity with France.

Spain had raised its level of alert from three to four after June terrorist attacks in Kuwait, France and Tunisia.
