Hamilton dominates first Brazil practice session

Xinhua, November 14, 2015 Adjust font size:

Lewis Hamilton was dominant in the first practice session of the Formular One Brazilian Grand Prix as he led Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg by over half a second here on Friday.

Hamilton, who has secured this season's champion at the U.S. Grand Prix last month, timed the best lap of 1 minute, 13.543 seconds, and Rosberg ranked second with 1:14:062.

Chasing the Mercedes duo were the Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen, split by the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo, whose team mate Daniil Kvyat was sixth.

Brazilian drivers failed to deliver an impressive performance in front of home crowd. Williams' Felipe Massa was 17th, behind Sauber's Felipe Nasr, 14th. Endi
