Dollar in upper 122 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 122 yen zone in early trading on Friday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 122.60-61 yen, compared with 122.54-64 yen in New York and 122.93-94 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro meanwhile fetched 1.0807-0808 dollars and 132.50-52 yen, against 1.0807-0817 dollars and 132.49-59 yen in New York and 1.0743-0744 dollars and 132.07-11 yen in Tokyo in later trade on Thursday afternoon. Enditem
