Xinhua, November 13, 2015 Adjust font size:

At least 10 people were killed and more than 30 others injured in twin explosions that rocked the Burj el-Barajneh region in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Thursday, according to sources.

"A suicide bomber exploded himself near a small snack on the main street of Burj el-Barajneh, and after seven minutes another bomber exploded himself near the main mosque of the region," a security source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

The security forces have cordoned off the area and the civil defense teams are evacuating the injured to nearby hospitals, the source added. Endit
