Xinhua, November 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III on Tuesday inspected the airport and the venues where the upcoming Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit will be held on Nov. 17-19.

Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. said Aquino directed the concerned government agencies "on further fine-tuning the preparations."

The president was accompanied by some members of his cabinet led by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr., head of APEC National Organizing Committee, during the inspection, he said.

The government has suspended the work in government and classes at all levels on Nov. 17-20 and declared as special non-working holiday on Nov. 18-19 in Metro Manila, the venue of the APEC Summit. Endit
