China, Russian e-commerce firms work together

Chinese e-commerce platform xbniao.com has signed an agreement with Russia's B2B-Center platform.

According to the agreement signed Thursday in Beijing, Chinese companies can open stores at the B2B-Center, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Russia, and Russia purchasers can seek business opportunities through xbniao.com.

Founded in 2014, xbniao.com focuses on cross-platform services for buyers and sellers through integration of B2B and B2C.

B2B-Center has 230,000 corporate clients from more than 100 countries. Its transaction volume reached 27 billion U.S. dollars last year.

In 2014, bilateral trade between China and Russia hit a new high of 95.3 billion dollars with e-commerce contributing 2 billion dollars. Endi
