Hulk wins Champions League Player of the Week award

Zenit St. Petersburg's Brazilian striker Hulk has been voted UEFA Champions League Player of the Week for the second week in a row, UEFA's official site on Friday confirmed.

Hulk claimed 32% of total fan votes, beating out fellow Brazilian and Barcelona playmaker Neymar, who won 23% of the popular votes cast.

Hulk played an instrumental role in both Zenit goals and produced another strong all-round performance as the defending Russian Premier League champions qualified for the knockout rounds of the Champions League with a 2-0 away win over French side Lyon on Wednesday evening.

With four win from four matches, Zenit (12 points) are now well placed to qualify top of Group H ahead of Valencia (6), Gent (4) and Lyon (1). Endi
