Cambodian PM expresses condolences to Russia over plane crash in Egypt

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has expressed his condolences to Russia over the crash of a Russian airliner in Egypt on Saturday, which killed all the 224 people onboard.
In a condolence message sent to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on Sunday and released to the media on Monday, Hun Sen said he was deeply shocked and saddened by the deadly catastrophe of the Russian airliner in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt on Saturday.
"In this hour of great sorrow, the government and people of Cambodia join me in extending to Your Excellency and to the government and people of the Russian Federation, particularly the families and loved ones of those who perished in the crash, our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences," he said.
An Airbus A-321 operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia, with 217 passengers, most of whom are Russians, and seven crew members onboard, crashed early Saturday in the Sinai Peninsula shortly after it took off from Egypt's Red Sea Resort Sharm el-Sheikh. Endit
