About 3.8 mln Croatians eligible to vote in parliament elections

Around 3.8 million Croatians are eligible to vote in the coming parliamentary elections, set for Nov. 8, the Public Administration Ministry said on Saturday.

The electoral rolls include a total of 3,791,341 eligibles, of them 3,755,065 are permanent residents in Croatia and others registered abroad, mainly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany and Serbia, it said.

There are 6,574 polling stations in Croatia and 114 abroad for voters cast their ballot.

Voters will elect a total of 151 members of parliament. There are 8 seats reserved for representatives of minorities and 3 seats for Diaspora. Endit
