Army troops were called in at a district in southern Pakistan after clashes between political rivals claimed 11 lives on Saturday, officials said.

CAIRO -- Rescue teams have found at least 100 bodies in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula where a Russian airliner carrying 224 people crashed on Saturday, a security source told Xinhua.
The rescue teams are still searching for survivors and have transferred bodies of the victims to hospitals in Cairo by military planes, the source said. (Egypt-Air Crash)

GHAZNI, Afghanistan -- A dozen Taliban militants including key commander Mullah Manan were killed as aircraft struck their hideout in Nawa district of Ghazni province on Saturday, provincial governor Mohammad Aman Hamim said.
