Singapore netball team to visit Botswana

The Singapore national netball team is scheduled to visit Botswana for a week-long tour next week, the Botswana Netball Association (BONA) announced Friday.

According to BONA president, Tebogo Lebotse-Sebego, the team will arrive in Botswana on Monday and will play several matches against two Botswana select teams, including a local Under-21 select side.

Botswana is forming a team for the 2017 World Youth Netball Championships, which will be hosted by the southern African country.

Singapore, one of the best teams in the world, has some Botswana's players in the domestic league.

Both teams will compete at an internationals in Singapore on December 13-19. Namibia, Northern Ireland, Chinese Taipei and Papua New Guinea will also attend. Endit
