-- Germany will work together with the Afghan government to ensure that rejected asylum seekers will be returned, said German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere. The large number of Afghan refugees in Germany was "unacceptable," he said.

Sueddeutsche Zeitung:

-- The Bavarian state government intends to persuade German Chancellor Angela Merkel to change her refugee policy. German Prime Minister Horst Seehofer said on Wednesday that immigration must finally be limited.
