British FTSE 100 decreases 0.81 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday decreased by 0.81 percent, or 51.75 points, to 6,365.27 points.

Share price of Shire increased by 6.90 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Associated British Foods, St James's Place, Legal & General Group and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA increased by 1.03 percent, 0.91 percent, 0.90 percent and 0.66 percent respectively.

Anglo American PLC led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.62 percent, followed by Pearson (4.09 percent), Antofagasta (4.05 percent), Glencore (3.36 percent) and BHP Billiton (3.36 percent). Endit
