Customers receive 200 mln yuan in Q3 following complaints

Disgruntled Chinese customers were refunded more than 200 million yuan (31.48 million U.S. dollars) in the third quarter (Q3) thanks to the work of the China Consumers' Association (CCA).

In the July-September period, about 145,989 individual complaints were processed by the CCA, the organization said.

The majority of complaints concerned product quality, after-sales services and contracts, according to the CCA. With home appliances, clothing, shoes, and vehicles topping the product list.

CCA returned around 796 million yuan to consumers in the first half of this year, boosting confidence in the domestic market, data from the CCA showed. Endi
