Myanmar eyes gold in Asian Bodybuilding, Fitness championships

Myanmar is expecting to fetch the gold medal in the Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness championships to be held from Nov. 15-21 in Thailand, sports circle said Saturday.

Myanmar athletes are sure to secure the gold medal if it can beat Thai competitors.

"We make some mistakes at the previous competition in Uzbekistan and Vietnam ended up winning," Tun Min, who will be competing in the 60kg category.

Tun Min won a silver medal in the 49th Asian Body Building and Fitness Championships in Uzbekistan and a gold medal in the 48th Championships in China.

Nann Lao Kham, also a gold medal winner at the 49th Championships, is representing Myanmar in the women's competition. Endi
