LME base metals mostly rise on Thursday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Thursday.

Workers at Toromocho copper mine in Peru started a two-day strike on Wednesday. The three-month unofficial copper price increased 89.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.73 percent, to 5,257 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 3.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.23 percent, to 1,518 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 44 U.S. dollars, or 2.54 percent, to 1,778 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 34 U.S. dollars, or 1.97 percent, to 1,764 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 97.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.95 percent, to 10,387.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.31 percent, to 15,950 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
