Direct flights link Beijing, Mumbai

Xinhua, October 22, 2015 Adjust font size:

Air China will launch direct flights between Beijing and Mumbai on Sunday, the first nonstop service from the Chinese mainland to the Indian port city.

Currently, passengers have to transit in Hong Kong, Singapore or Bangkok to travel between China's capital and the Indian commercial hub.

Flights will take off every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday night from Beijing and arrive in Mumbai after a seven-hour trip. Flights will return several hours later. Endi
