Jeremy Lin set to start for Hornets in Shanghai

Xinhua, October 13, 2015 Adjust font size:

Jeremy Lin is set to start for the Charlotte Hornets in Wednesday's 2015 NBA Global Games against Los Angeles Clippers, head coach Steve Clifford confirmed here on Tuesday.

"We gonna play with Jeremy Lin to start at two (scoring guard), and Cody Zeller to start at four (power forward)," said Clifford before Tuesday's pregame practice.

Lin and Zeller shone with a team-high 16 points apiece for the Hornets during last Sunday's 106-94 victory over the Clippers in Shenzhen.

"Just to see how that unit plays with all these guys on the floor, with different combinations, to see how we function the best as a group."

"He is a terrific guy, he is personable, team-oriented and hard-working. He brings a lot of good characteristics to the team," Clifford commented on Lin's partnership with teammates.

However, Clifford shrugged off a clear answer for the team's starting five for the new season.

"We will see. Now we have a few more preseason games, and we will keep experimenting to see which line-up fits better, not only for starting, but also for the bench," he said. Endi
