Albanian Post issues stamp to mark 85th anniversary of AFF

Albanian Post has issued the stamp to mark the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Albanian Football Federation (AFF), Albanian Daily News said on Saturday.

Albania, one of the founding members of UEFA, established the football federation in 1930. In 1965, Albania attended World Cup qualifiers for the first time. Since 1982, Albania has been a regular participant of Euro Cup qualifiers.

On Oct. 8, 2015, Albania hosted Serbia in "Elbasan Arena" Stadium for Euro 2016 qualification but lost 2-0 to the visitors. Endit
