The World Food Program (WFP) has announced it may stop providing food aid for some 2,000 Central African Republic's refugees in the Democratic Republic of Congo by the end of November.
WFP's spokesman in Kinshasa Claude Kalinga attributed the possible halt to lack of funds from donors for December's food aid.
"We urge our usual financial donors to take note of the magnitude of the challenges we are currently facing with the Central African Republic's refugees," he said Thursday.
The spokeman urged financial assistance for the refugees towards the end of November and in December.
According to WFP, one million U.S. dollars is required. Enditem
