Klopp agrees to manage Liverpool

Xinhua, October 9, 2015 Adjust font size:

Former Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has agreed to manage English premier league side Liverpool on a three-year deal.

The 48-year-old German has been in talks with the Reds after Brendan Rodgers was sacked on Sunday after three and a half years in charge.

Klopp, who also managed Mainz for seven years, has been out of work since May when he ended a seven-year spell at Borussia Dortmund.

His first match in charge of Liverpool will be at Tottenham on October 17.

Liverpool are 10th on the Premier League table after eight matches. Endit
