Houston Rockets beat Dallas Mavericks 109-82

The Houston Rockets beat the Dallas Mavericks 109-82 at the Toyota Center on Wednesday night, the first victory for the Rockets after losing its first preseason game to the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.

It was not a close contest between the two teams, especially after the Rockets led the first half 67-47 over the the Mavericks. During the second half, it was almost a game between the reserves and rookies from both teams.

James Harden, the score maker of the Rockets, had 19 points and five assists in the first half. His teammate Corey Brewer added 16 points with Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker and Clint Capela each scoring 12 points.

John Jenkins had 19 points for the Mavericks while teammate J.J. Barea added 14 points. Endi
