French stock market index up 2.57 pct

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 rebounded by 2.57 percent to close at 4,455.29 points on Wedesday, up 111.56 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed with a technical rebound, and 39 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Wednesday were Peugeot, up 6.40 percent, Valeo, up 5.69 percent, and Carrefour, up 4.63 percent.

The only company whose stock dropped was ArcelorMittal, down 0.83 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped slightly by 0.31 percent to close at 4,343.73 points, down 13.32 points. Enditem
