Xinhua, September 30, 2015 Adjust font size:

Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday stressed China's firm commitment to a peaceful development path when he met with 27 newly-appointed foreign ambassadors to China.

"China is willing to jointly safeguard the post-war world order and hard-won peace with other countries," Li told the envoys.

He hoped they would contribute to stronger friendship and cooperation between China and their countries, adding that the government would offer convenience and support for their work in China.

Li said China was ready to deepen trust, cooperation and cultural exchanges with countries around the world, and enhance coordination on global and regional affairs.

Going forward, China hopes to enhance macro policy coordination with other countries, integrate development strategies, and carry out capacity cooperation to achieve mutual benefits, said Premier Li.

The envoys congratulated Li ahead of China's National Day, which is on Oct. 1, and extended greetings to China's leaders and people.

They spoke highly of China's development achievements, and pledged to make efforts to promoting friendship and cooperation. Endi
