BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) - Air China will begin direct flights between Beijing and Canada's Montreal on Sept. 29 this year, the airline announced on Monday.

The flight will leave the Chinese capital three times a week, on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, shortening the previous travel time between the two cities to about 12.5 hours.

Montreal, the largest city in the Canadian province of Quebec, is the third Canadian city after Vancouver and Toronto with a direct flight to China's mainland. Endit
