LME base metals mostly rise on Thursday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) mostly closed higher on Thursday.

The U.S. dollar index decreased 0.33 percent to 95.75 later in Thursday's session, lifting most base metals prices.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 20 U.S. dollars, or 0.39 percent, to 5,072.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 5.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.35 percent, to 1,577.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 5 U.S. dollars, or 0.29 percent, to 1,700 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 12 U.S. dollars, or 0.72 percent, to 1,682 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 75 U.S. dollars, or 0.76 percent, to 9,887.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 125 U.S. dollars, or 0.83 percent, to 15,150 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
