French stock market index down 1.93 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 dropped by 1.93 percent to close at 4,347.24 points on Thursday, down 85.59 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Thursday with 38 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

Unibail-Rodamco was the only gainer on Thursday, up 0.38 percent, while Societe Generale stayed the same as previous trading day.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Thursday were Solvay, down 4.74 percent, Kering, down 4.69 percent, and Saint Gobain, down 4.14 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 rebounded slightly by 0.10 percent to close at 4,432.83 points, up 4.32 points. Enditem
