Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks closed higher on Thursday amid expiry of the September series futures and options contracts, and churning of positions by traders.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,863.50, 40.51 percents or 0.16 percent up from previous close of 25,822.99, with a turnover of 406.02 crore rupees (about 61.4 million US dollars). Endi
