Spain's vehicle production rose by 13.6 percent in July, local media reported on Friday.
Spanish factories have manufactured 264,718 units in July this year, while manufacturing 1,722,421 units in the first seven months of the year, which meant a 12.9 percent increase when compared with the same period of a year earlier.
According to the Association of Car Manufacturers (ANFAC) the rise in production is due to a rise in both domestic and external demand, which make Spanish factories work more in order to satisfy demand.
The number of private cars manufactured until July reached 1,388,697, rising by 19.7 percent when compared with the same period of a year earlier, while the number of commercial and industrial vehicles fell by 5.7 percent to 320,007.
As many as 1,414,227 vehicles of the total were shipped to other countries from January to July, which meant a 10.78-percent rise in comparison with a year earlier. In July alone, 226,999 units were exported, meaning a 14.81-percent rise in comparison with July 2014. Endit
