China and the United States have reached important consensus on combating cyber crimes.

RIYADH -- Saudi authorities said on Saturday that Islam's annual hajj pilgrimage won't be affected by Friday's crane collapse that killed 107 and injured 238 pilgrims at Mecca's Grand Mosque, local news channel Al Arabiya reported.

Prince Khalid Al Faisal, the Mecca governor and head of the central hajj committee, has ordered renovations of all damages that were caused by the deadly incident, the report said. (Saudi Arabia-Mecca-Hajj)

HAVANA -- The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) on Saturday called for an end to paramilitary activities and "dirty warfare", in order to bring peace to Colombia.

"It is impossible to bring a stable and lasting peace as long as paramilitary actions and dirty warfare continue," said FARC spokesman Pablo Catatumbo in a press release published ahead of a new day of peace talks in the Cuban capital. (FARC-Colombia-paramilitary)

LAGOS -- The police in southern Nigeria's Rivers State on Saturday confirmed the release of Vanguard Newspaper columnist Donu Kogbara, who was abducted from her residence 11 days ago.
