Uganda names squad for 2016 CHAN qualifier against Sudan

Uganda's national football coach on Friday named a 25-man squad that will start preparations for the 2016 Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier against Sudan.
Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic told Xinhua the team will start training on Saturday for the two games against Sudan that determine if Uganda qualifies for CHAN.
Uganda will host Sudan in the first leg on Oct. 17 before the return leg is played in Khartoum on Oct. 24.
The winner over the two legs will qualify for the tournament to take place in Kigali, Rwanda in January next year.
To reach the last stage of the 2016 CHAN qualifiers, Uganda ejected Tanzania on a 4-1 goal aggregate.
Uganda played in the 2014 CHAN Championship in South Africa but failed to qualify out of the group that had Morocco, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso.
