Wang Shuaiting, former vice chairman of China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) for suspected regulation and criminal offenses, the top anti-graft body said Friday.

Approved by the CPC Central Committee, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) launched an investigation into Wang's violations and found he took advantage of his post to seek benefits for himself and others regarding promotion and business operation and extorted and accepted bribes while working at state-owned enterprise China Resources, the CCDI said in a statement.
