China's top legislator Zhang Dejiang met with Namibia's National Council Chairman Asser Kapere in Beijing on Thursday.

Calling Namibia an important cooperation partner, Zhang said China hopes to improve political trust and cooperation with the African country and strengthen coordination in global affairs.
