China to promote industrial cooperation with more countries: official

Xinhua, September 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

China will promote international cooperation on industry and equipment manufacturing with more countries and organizations to help global economy recover, a senior Chinese official said Wednesday at the Summer Davos Forum.

Xu Shaoshi, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, said China will promote cooperation on industry and equipment manufacturing with 15 countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe.

The cooperation will be conducted through ways of funding and building plants, production lines, infrastructure and industrial cluster districts, Xu said.

Meanwhile, China also plans to work with countries and enterprises with advanced management experience and technologies to explore third-party markets for the future.

China has clarified 12 major industries for international industrial cooperation, including steel, shipbuilding, railways and electric power, and established funds to support such cooperation.

"The industrial cooperation between China and both developing and developed countries can inject new power to the recovery of global economy," said Xu. Endi
