China loses to Jordan in basketball tourney

The Chinese Olympic team lost 72-70 to Jordan in their opening game at an international basketball tournament on Wednesday.

The tournament held in Zhongning County of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region features Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and host China.

Chinese league players Fang Shuo and Zhu Yanxi were lackluster in the game, scoring seven and six points respectively.

China will take on the UAE on Thursday. Endi
