French stock market index up 1.07 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index, CAC 40, gained an advance of 1.07 percent to close at 4,598.26 points on Tuesday, up 48.62 points.

With the good economic indicators in Europe, the CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly higher on Tuesday with 38 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers were Valeo, up 4.48 percent, Renault, up 3.52 percent, and Peugeot, up 2.71 percent.

The only two companies whose stock dropped on Tuesday were L'Oreal, down 0.20 percent, and Technip, down 1.23 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained a slight advance of 0.59 percent to close at 4,549.64 points, up 26.56 points. Endit
