Ghana vows to take on Nigeria in All Africa Games clash

Xinhua, September 8, 2015 Adjust font size:

Ghana coach Malik Jabir has warned Nigeria ahead of their Group B clash in the on-going 2015 All Africa Games in Brazzaville.

"We should not be underrated because we drew 0-0 with Senegal on Sunday. That match has put us in the right mind for the Nigeria game," Jabir told Xinhua on Monday.

The Ghanaian team on Sunday struggled as they drew with Senegal at the Alphonse Massamba Debat Stadium in the Congolese capital.

Jabir said after cooling off their nerves in the opening match, Nigeria should be careful.

"We have what it takes to take all three points. My boys should make sure they take their chances," said Jabir.

Nigeria, the other Group B contestant were rendered inactive on Sunday following the withdrawal of Egypt.

The other teams taking part in the Games which conclude on Sept. 19 include Burkina Faso, Sudan, Zimbabwe and hosts Congo. Endi
