Mauritanian president to visit China

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz will pay a state visit to China from Sept. 9-16 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei made the announcement at a regular press briefing here on Monday.

Aziz will also attend the opening ceremony of the China-Arab States Expo to be held in Yinchuan, capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China, from Sept. 10-13. Endi
