Xinhua, September 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will visit India next week, sources said Sunday.

"The Sri Lankan Prime Minister will be in the Indian capital from Sept. 14 to 16. He will have a luncheon meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sept. 15 and also meet other political leaders of this country," the sources said.

During Wickremesinghe's visit, India may seek the fast finalisation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement with Sri Lanka, the sources added.

It will be the Sri Lankan Prime Minister's first foreign visit as well as first visit to India after assuming office. Endi
