19-year-old Yang Haoran refreshed the world junior record to claim the gold medal at the men's 10m air rifle event of the ISSF World Cup Final in Munich on Saturday.

The world No.1 rifle shooter scored 632.7 points in the qualification stage, 0.6 point better than the world junior record he set last year in World Championships.

"This season it hasn't been that good for me." Yang said to ISSF official website. "I had several physical problems, I believe because of the stress of all the competitions I participated in. I just have to accept it, that happens, I need to rest a bit now."

Yang was the runner-up at the qualification, trailing defending world champion Vladimir Maslennikov, who collected 633.4 points.

Yang dominated the final stage. He established his lead after the first three shots, and dashed away until he finished at the top of the podium with a final score of 207.0 points.

It was Yang's second World Cup Final gold medal. His first one came in 2013.

Oleh Tsarkov of Ukraine landed in second place with 206.6 points, and the winner of this year's ISSF World Cup Stage in Fort Benning Milutin Stefanovic of Serbia took bronze with 184.6 points.

Iran's Elaheh Ahmadi claimed gold at today's women's 10m air rifle event. India's Apurvi Chandela and Andrea Arsovic of Serbia got the silver and bronze respectively.

On the 10m air pistol events, Serbian markswoman Zorana Arunovic and Vladimir Isakov of Russia took home the golds. Endi
