15 killed in road accident in northern India

At least 15 people were killed and 12 others injured on Tuesday when a bus rolled down a 200- meter deep gorge in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, said police.

The incident took place at the state's Kinnaur district some 18 km from the state capital Shimla, and the death toll could increase as some people are still unaccounted for.

Road accidents take place frequently in India with at least 120, 000 killed each year, according to local media. Endi
